Stadtbus Transportes, a company specializing in the transportation of passengers in the urban, intermunicipal and business segments, in addition to chartering, acquired the first unit of the new NEOBUS SPECTRUM 325 bus. The model, presented last August, was developed for the charter and road segments intermunicipal, as well as regular lines of medium and short distances.
According to Vanderlei Cassol, manager of Stadtbus, the choice for the new SPECTRUM 325 was due to the differentials that the new product presents and the tradition and high image of robustness, comfort and lower total cost of ownership. Ease of operation and functionality are other attributes of the model
According to João Paulo Ledur, director of NEOBUS, the SPECTRUM 325 was developed to compete in the fierce charter segment, in which the cost of maintenance is a decisive factor. "We combine the attributes of brand efficiency with high standards of ergonomics and acoustic and thermal comfort to offer a differentiated model in the market," says the executive.
The Stadtbus SPECTRUM 325 features a Mercedes-Benz OF 1721 chassis, total length of 12,700mm and seating capacity for 48 passengers. It provides air conditioning system and LED lighting with indirect lights for convenience and sophistication as well as LED reading lights, which also have individual outputs for air conditioning. Its interior design follows automotive trends with more "friendly" and modern materials and textures.
325 NEOBUS stands out by its clean, fluid design of the front optical assembly, with LEDs beacons and beehive honeycomb grid. At the rear, it has an independent bumper which facilitates repairs and reduces maintenance costs, tail lights with clean and straight design.
Seven new NEOBUS New MEGA buses
In addition to the SPECTRUM 325, NEOBUS also provided seven new MEGA buses for Stadtbus Transportes, which will be used for public transport in the cities of Santa Cruz do Sul and Bagé. Four of these vehicles have Mercedes-Benz OF 1724 chassis and three of them have Mercedes-Benz OF 1721 chassis, air conditioning system, lift for passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility and electronic destination display.
Stadtbus Transportes is one of the largest urban public transport companies in the Rio Pardo, Taquari, Jacuí and Rio Grande do Sul valleys. It started its collective transportation activities in 1966, in Santa Cruz do Sul (RS), under the name of Empresa Oliveira (Oliveira Company), and in 1989, with the entry of new partners and administration staff, it started adopting a new visual identity and a new administration model, expanding its business. Today, its fleet has more than 250 buses and operates in several cities in different Brazilian states, such as Rio Grande do Sul, São Paulo, Mato Grosso, Goiás, Bahia, Tocantins and the Federal District.
