Vehicles will be used to transport the urban cleaning teams of Brasília
Sustentare Saneamento S.A. is a company with expertise in providing integrated urban cleaning services, and its fleet will have eight new NEOBUS New Mega by the end of October. The vehicles will be used to transport the staff of the company in charge for the development of environmental services such as pruning, weeding and mowing, curb painting, manhole cleaning of squares, parks, beaches and garden areas, as well as road, buildings and public monuments washing in the city of Brasília.
According to Douglas Cristiano Pessoa, sales supervisor at NEOBUS, it is the first time Sustentare has purchased NEOBUS buses and it demonstrates the increasing market share of the brand this year in all regions of the country. “We have been able to expand our participation in the Brazilian market by both supplying new customers and new segments, as well as expanding deliveries to traditional customers,” he says.
The eight New Mega buses were built on Volkswagen 17,230 OD chassis. They are 12,565mm long and can carry 45 seated and 24 standing passengers. They feature two doors on the right and are equipped with “VALEO CC355 S” air conditioning system, lift installed on the rear door for full accessibility, double-glazed windows, front electronic destination display and rear approach sensor to assist in reverse maneuvers. The buses also feature City-type seats with headrest and seat belts in all seats.
