NEOBUS WILL EXPORT NEW ROAD BUSES TO SOUTH AFRICA

NEOBUS will export four New Road N10 380 buses to the Unitrans Passenger Group, one of the main transport operators in South Africa. The vehicles will be incorporated into the Megacoach fleet, one of the operators of the conglomerate, and used in luxury tourism services on routes throughout the country.

According to Alexandre Pontalti, director of NEOBUS, South Africa has become one of the main road bus markets of the African continent. “This business is very important because it demonstrates the growth of our presence in Africa and the excellent acceptance of our vehicles. The market is looking for exclusive products that combine security, design and technology. The preference for the Brazilian product is a result of the vast experience and tradition that Brazil has in the production and export of buses to the whole world ", explains the executive.

With right-hand drive (RHD), the NEOBUS New Road N10 380 is capable of carrying 52 passengers in semi-reclining seats with  three-point seat belt. With 14 m of length, the model has air-conditioning, audio-visual with three monitors, toilet facility, two access doors to the passenger saloon (front and middle), LED daytime running lights, multiplex system, fully functional panel and modern Volvo B430R chassis.

“Since 2015, we have already exported 30 units to three different operators in South Africa. The development of vehicles with right-hand steering reinforces the image of quality and technology of the Brazilian bus, which offers a very attractive cost-benefit ratio for customers, "says Pontalti.

With a bold and modern identity, the New Road N10 line features a panoramic partition wall, a standard on-board computer with 56-key operator panel, 7-inch LCD screen, and LED reading lights. The wide comfortable seats provide peaceful travelling in a totally relaxing internal environment.
