NEOBUS SUPPLIES FOUR THUNDER + MINIBUSES FOR TRANSURB S.A. IN RIO DE JANEIRO

New vehicles were delivered in June

NEOBUS supplied five new Thunder + minibuses to Rio de Janeiro's Transurb company in June. The acquisition is part of the fleet renewal of the operator, which is a traditional customer of the brand and had already acquired other 15 units earlier this year.

According to Douglas Cristiano Pessoa, NEOBUS national sales supervisor, the manufacturer has a large stake in Transurb's fleet. “The operator owns 70 vehicles of the brand and had previously purchased 15 NEOBUS buses last year as well,” says the Executive.

The four NEOBUS Thunder + minibuses are fully accessible with lift and air conditioning system. They have a total length of 8,950 mm built on Mercedes-Benz LO 916 chassis. The vehicle features two access doors and can carry 23 seated passengers in upholstered headrest seats. It also counts on an internal camera monitoring system, USB inlets and electronic destination displays. The new Transurb S/A units also have a new painting standard.

The NEOBUS Thunder + stands out for its robustness and versatility and its main features are greater internal space in the passenger saloon and operation efficiency. The bus model has flat flooring without wheel boxes in the saloon, interior lighting, taillights, headlamps with chrome details and LED daytime lighting.
