The vehicle highlights the presence of the manufacturer in São Paulo
Norte Buss Transporte S.A. has acquired 12 new NEOBUS Thunder + minibuses to use in the public transport system of the city of São Paulo in the northern side of the city. The new vehicles expand the brand's participation in the operator's fleet, to which between 2017 and 2019 Neobus supplied more than 50 vehicles, says Douglas Cristiano Pessoa, its National Sales Supervisor.
The Thunder + vehicles are built on VW 9.160 OD chassis, they are 8.830 mm long and their configuration follows the SP Trans standards. They are equipped with air conditioning system with internal temperature indicator positioned in a place that is easily visible to all passengers. It has two doors on the right, and a lift for accessibility installed next to the wheelchair door. With carrying capacity of 38 passengers (24 seated and 14 standing), they have high headrest Urban-type seats, sealed windows, two electronic destination displays, rear parking sensor, air conditioning control, internal speed indicator panel, and USB ports in all seats.
Among the NEOBUS Thunder + unique characteristics are its outer width of 2,400m and a completely flat wheel arch free flooring for improved interior space and comfort for passengers. The vehicles supplied to Norte Buss also have a monitoring system that is ready for four image recording cameras.
