NEOBUS OPENS BRANCH IN SÃO PAULO TO GENERATE GROW IN THE URBAN AND MICROBUS SEGMENTS

The strategy is aligned with changes in product portfolio and market approach

As part of its new market strategy and in order to strengthen its presence in the urban and microbus segments, in which it achieved excellent results in 2017, NEOBUS opens its branch office in the city of São Paulo to serve customers throughout the state. The new unit will allow the manufacturer to be closer to its customers and act directly, in an even faster and more efficiently way, offering high standard services as well as technical support and spare parts.

According to João Paulo Ledur, director of NEOBUS, despite all the crisis faced by the Brazilian bus industry until the second half of last year, 2018 has started at a different pace and with increasing demand, especially in the segment of urban and microbuses. “We ended 2017 with an excellent performance in the microbus segment. We were the largest supplier for the Caminho da Escola (Pathway to School) program, and as regarding exports, we reached our best result ever with the production of more than 500 units, “ he says.

“We are recognized for the robustness and quality of our products and the speed of response to our partners' demands. The São Paulo branch will allow us to be even better and serve the customer with even more excellence, “ says João Paulo. Until now, NEOBUS did not have a dedicated operation in São Paulo, one of the main micro and urban bus markets in the country. With the new unit, the manufacturer promotes a better customer approach, offering services with the same quality standards of the manufacturer, with a specialized team for technical assistance and warranty, and spare parts and components distribution center.

According to João Paulo Ledur, NEOBUS's strategy focuses on the development and production of lighter, more efficient, appealing, low maintenance vehicles. The goal is to maintain a strong presence in the school segment, supplying it to the Pathway to School program and repeating the good performance achieved last year in the microbus segment with the production of 815 units.

“This year, we will also present several new products in terms of new products to intensify our presence in urban, as well as in light buses for the charter segment. In the foreign market, we intend to keep our market share and client loyalty to consolidate the brand abroad, especially in Latin American countries, “ he emphasizes.
