The company grew 125% in the first half of this year and increased supply to customers in the Northeast region of Brazil
NEOBUS has been increasingly growing and expanding to new markets in a trajectory that started last year. The company, which expanded production by 125% in the first half of this year, has been expanding its list of customers and markets with the New Mega, Thunder +, Thunder Way and Spectrum 325 models.
“We have grown sustainably and continuously. The competitive advantages of NEOBUS vehicles, such as high-quality standards and better value for money, as well as efficient technical and after-sales service have been pleasing both traditional and new customers,” said Douglas Cristiano Pessoa, national sales supervisor at NEOBUS. In the first six months of 2019, NEOBUS produced 1,020 units against 475 in the same period of 2018.
This satisfaction can also be evidenced by the increase in market share and national production. NEOBUS jumped from less than 6% at the end of 2017 to almost 10% of market share in 2019, the biggest growth registered among all national bus body manufacturers according to data from Fabus (National Bus Manufacturers Association).
In the state of Sergipe, the most recent supplies of the Spectrum 325 model were 12 units to Águia Dourada (Golden Eagle) and 10 units to Vitória Transportes.
According to Douglas Cristiano Pessoa, the goal is to continue growing and conquering new markets and customers, especially in the domestic market. “This year we closed significant deals with operators in the Northeast, which will allow us to expand our presence in these important market with all our vehicle models” he says.
