Vehicles are supplied in partnership with Iveco Defense Vehicles
The Brazilian Navy acquired through electronic trading 40 units of the NEOBUS New Mega urban buses. The new vehicles supplied by NEOBUS together with Iveco Defense Vehicles, are the first buses of the brand acquired by the Brazilian Navy and they are being incorporated into their fleet for use in corporate displacement.
“It is very important to supply our vehicles to the Brazilian Navy and we are very pleased with Iveco's choice of our products. This is the first purchase of the vehicles by the Navy,” says Douglas Cristiano Pessoa, NEOBUS sales supervisor. “This opens up new possibilities for further expanding our market share,” he comments.
Built on Iveco 170S28 chassis, the vehicles are 12,545mm long, and they are equipped with air conditioning system. The buses can carry 49 passengers seated in urban-type seats upholstered in couroflex.
The units will be distributed throughout the national territory. The first units have been delivered to Pernambuco and São Paulo. One unit went to the city of Olinda and two units were delivered to the city of São Paulo.
The New Mega buses stand out for their extreme robustness. In addition to being spacious, economical and aesthetically attractive, the vehicles were designed to meet the needs of transport operators across the country, combining comfort and great performance.
