NEOBUS delivered 13 new MEGA Plus buses to two of the main urban transport operators in Santa Catarina: Gidion and Transtusa. The vehicles will be used to transport and improve the mobility of the population of Joinville city.
“Despite the economic crisis that the country is facing, it is very important to continue investing in the purchase of new vehicles. Gidion and Transtusa have a continuous fleet renewal system. This demonstrates the commitment of operators in offering more comfort and safety to their passengers,“ explains Alexandre Pontalti, director of NEOBUS.
The MEGA Plus model stands out for its extreme robustness, wide internal space and modern design. It was designed to meet the needs of urban transport, combining comfort and excellent performance. To increase safety and ease of driving, the driver's station has better ergonomics with controls positioned for easy access and actioning.
The NEOBUS MEGA Plus buses provided for the operators have a VW 17230 OD Euro V chassis, with carrying capacity of 34 seated passengers, air conditioning and audio systems, accessibility for people with reduced mobility and electronic destination display. The vehicles also received front optical set with DRL daytime running lights and LED internal and tail lights.
